Description
Synapse Grid is a light-cycle combat racer where your trail doesn’t fade. It stays on the grid — as cover, as a ramp, as a trap, and as the single thing most likely to kill you. Green trail is terrain: ride it, climb it, use it to get above a fight. Amber trail is fresh, and lethal on contact, including your own. There’s no boost button — the only way to go fast is to draft close behind another rider who is actively laying wall that can end you. Turning is a hard 90 degrees on a cooldown, so every wall in the game is made of right angles you can read at a glance, and every commitment is final.
Features
- The grid is the weapon. Every wall you paint is a threat to everyone else and a structure you have to live with. Nothing is permanent — cut clean through any wall to open a route nobody expected.
- Campaign. 90 hand-authored missions across 18 sectors, laid out as a branching route map with real forks, minibosses at the seams between sectors, and optional rewards down the dead ends. Past sector 18 a deterministic generator keeps routing new ones — the route map previews the next three and fades out at ∞, which is why screenshots of it read sectors 1–21.
- Couch war. 2–4 player local split-screen with teams. Empty seats fill with AI.
- Online. Up to 10 riders on one grid, direct or via relay, with AI fill.
- Build your own grid. Built-in map editor; share arenas as a short text code — no uploads, no server, no account. Steam Workshop support is planned for a future Early Access update.
- Garage. Every bike, skin and trail effect is earned by playing. No loot boxes, no premium currency. 100 achievements.
Monetization
